Eva Longoria will need to find a new show once "Desperate Housewives" calls it quits.

ABC has announced the date of the final episode of "Desperate Housewives." Fans of the show will be able to say goodbye to Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, and the rest of the gang with a two hour finale on May 13. The finale of "Desperate Housewives" will definitely be one of the most anticipated shows of the season. However, several other stars are saying good-bye to shows in May. Here is a look at some other actors that are ending long runs on television.

Hugh Laurie - "House"

After eight seasons as the cantankerous medical expert, Laurie will put down the cane and move on other projects. Laurie has received a ton of awards and nominations for his iconic role. It won't feel quite the same without him yelling at patients on the tube every week. It isn't clear what the actor will do next. However, it might not be easy for him to avoid being typecast because of this show.

Zachary Levi -"Chuck"

This show has been fighting for its life almost since it began. However, the cult series officially ended in January. Levi starred as the lead character for five seasons and more than 90 episodes. The show was almost cancelled several times before but fans of the show managed to save it. At the very least, Levi and company got to go out on their own terms. The actor won't play the computer whiz turned CIA agent anymore. However, the actor continues to land movie roles and has a television pilot in the works.

Ty Pennington - "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"

Fans of this show will have to find new ways to shed tears. The popular home remodeling show aired its final episode in January. ABC has said that it could return as a special but it is finished as a regular series. As the host, Pennington did a great job of tugging on the heart string while also building amazing homes. We shouldn't worry too much about his career. The host has already moved on to another series called "The Revolution."
