Tweeted Kutcher, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."
Fans of the beautiful actress had been wondering when she was going to wise up, and now she has. There are at least three reasons why divorcing the new "Two and a Half Men" star is a smart move.
Ashton does not seem to understand the meaning of monogamy
As Demi stood by her man, we were beginning to think they had an open marriage. We've always thought of the star as a smart woman, and we couldn't figure out why she put up with strong evidence of his infidelity, including text messages. But Moore began to show us in subtle ways her pain, primarily on Twitter, with such tweets as, "I see through you," accompanied by a Twitpic of the herself in deep reflection, eyes closed. We've also seen the star painfully thin lately, and we wondered if her weight loss was related to her marital troubles.
Her children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah deserve better
The co-director of the Lifetime Network's "Five" has acknowledged that she wishes to live her life a certain way. "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," she said.
This is marriage number three for the actress, and it takes courage to admit defeat, once again. But ending a dysfunctional relationship is the first step to a better life for the star.
Demi is still an attractive woman who can revive her career
The woman who was the talk of Hollywood in the 80s and 90s is not "dead" yet. Ashton has gained new life with "Two and a Half Men," and there's no reason Demi can't do the same. Standing in the shadow of her cheating husband does her no good in the long run. Expect to see Moore become a major Hollywood player, again, in the future.
Demi, we wish you nothing but the best.
