David Spade Gives $100,000 for Disaster Relief

Actor/comedian David Spade is once again helping those in need by providing a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross for disaster relief.

The Rules of Engagement star -- a member of the Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet -- encouraged others to help as well in the wake of recent tornadoes that struck parts of the South and the Midwest. "I hope this will help to keep the focus on those in desperate need right now and that others will join me in donating what they can to support the widespread disaster relief efforts of the Red Cross," Spade said.

In a statement, the American Red Cross said: "David Spade has once again demonstrated selfless compassion and kindness to assist those in need. This generous contribution is vitally important as Red Cross continues to offer shelter, food, emotional support and relief supplies to the thousands of people devastated by disasters in America’s heartland."
