Tony Dovolani

Last night, "Dancing With the Stars" eliminated the second contestant this season. To no one's surprise, the hammer fell on Wynonna Judd and long-suffering pro Tony Dovolani.

To Wynonna's credit, she handled her elimination with class. Unlike D.L. Hughley, she didn't make excuses or fire back against the judges for their harsh criticisms. She knew where her strengths and weaknesses were, commenting that she was a singer, not a dancer.

Derek Vs. Tony

During the results show, the season 16 male pros performed in black leather. (Tristan MacManus was looking particularly studly!) Because of the choreography, there were moments when it looked like Tony and Derek Hough were fighting on stage.

Although it was only play-fighting, you have to wonder how Tony really feels about the favoritism Derek seems to receive from the producers. Unlike the more outspoken Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Tony is so diplomatic that he'll never complain.

Prom Queen & King

During this week's prom theme, voters had the chance to choose their prom queen and king. The honors went to Zendaya and Jacoby Jones.

Backstage, Peta Murgatroyd jokingly guaranteed that Sean Lowe would win prom queen. Sorry Peta, that only happens on "Glee." However, as a consolation prize, the judges chose "Dancing Queen" Sean and Peta to give this week's encore performance, accompanied by Bruno Tonioli.

Other Results

Mathematically-challenged Kellie Pickler and Derek (who topped this week's leaderboard) were safe. I like Kellie, but that whole exchange was a bit tiring. She was pulling that clueless country girl shtick during her entire run on "American Idol," and that was years ago.

Despite low scores, it looks like the viewers sympathized with D.L.'s off-stage rant against the judges. He and Cheryl Burke were safe.

Sean and Peta, Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold, Alexandra Raisman and Mark Ballas, Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson were also safe, along with prom queen and king Zendaya and Jacoby.

This week's performers included Huey Lewis and the News, Macy's Stars of Dance, and Demi Lovato, looking fierce in black leather. I definitely prefer brunette Demi to "Blondevato."

Bottom 3

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko landed in the bottom 3, but were given a reprieve. Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess narrowly escaped elimination, landing in the bottom 2.

I'm hoping Andy can stick around for a few more weeks and continue to improve. He reminds me a bit of David Arquette, with his goofy self-effacing sense of humor, and we can see that he's really trying.

Did the right person go home this week? Can underdogs Lisa, Victor, and Andy survive the next few weeks? Were the judges too harsh on D.L. and Wynonna? Was D.L.'s rant justified?
