Derek Hough tweeted his support for the east coast.

Last night, New York and New Jersey fans were unable to watch "Dancing With the Stars" Week 6 because of Hurricane Sandy. However, the stars took time to remember those who were affected by the storm.

Tom Bergeron had the funniest tweet of the evening. He tweeted, "Do these Hurricane Sandy reporters REALLY need to be outside telling us not to be outside. Isn't this how the Darwin Awards are won??"

Other stars were mostly praying for everyone's safety.

Kirstie Alley was mostly worried about the animals. She tweeted, "Hey shelters all over the East Coast..especially you PA...Let your people bring their PETS for F sake..they are IMPORTANT!!!"

Val Chmerkovskiy tweeted, "It's just a dance competition... Attend to what's more important. #family #safety #hurricanesandy"
