They're all just one big happy dancing family!

Past and present members of the "Dancing With the Stars" cast are toasting Derek Hough's latest award, and it has nothing to do with that blinged-out mirrorball he won earlier this year with Kellie Pickler. The four-time "DWTS" champ won a different kind of trophy when he nabbed the Outstanding Choreography award at the 65th Primetime Emmys.

Hough's post-Emmy reaction was classic (The phrase "Holy crap!" made it into his acceptance speech), but he later told E! News there's no comparing his mirrorball trophies to his new Emmy award: "It's like apples and oranges, but this is pretty, this is very, very special," he said.

But the talented pro dancer's "DWTS" cast mates had plenty to say about the show's first win in the Outstanding Choreography category.

Professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy tweeted: "Congrats to @derekhough!!! Well done my friend."

Australian pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd cheered her pal on with: "Woohoo! Huge congrats to @derekhough tonight! Well done babe!"

Karina Smirnoff, who attended the Emmys ceremony as well, tweeted: "Congratulations @derekhough on your Emmy win! Amazing!!!! Yayayayay! Looking forward to toasting with you tomorrow! Xoxo"

Pro dancer Cheryl Burke tweeted: "Congrats @derekhough!! Well deserved!! Love you babe."

Hough's brother from another mother, Mark Ballas, could barely contain his excitement over his blood brother's Emmy win. He wrote: "CONGRAAAAATS! @derekhough well deserved on your big win... Thx for the shout out too, love ya brother. #emmys"

Actress Jennifer Grey -- who danced her way to a mirrorball trophy with Hough back in 2010 -- tweeted: "BIG congratulations to @derekhough, the crazy talented dancer/choreographer and my trusted teacher/dance partner!! #Emmys"

Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, whose quickstep and mambo with Hough were among the nominated choreography pieces, seemed ready to do a back flip when she tweeted: "AHHHHHHH!!!! My man @Derekhough just won a FREAKING #EMMY #emmys2013 screaming!! So happy! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Speaking of his partners, the "DWTS" golden boy's current partner, "Glee" actress Amber Riley, tweeted: "Aaaaahhhhhh go boy!!!! Aaaah!!! So happy for Emmy Award Winner @derekhough! Yaaaaay!"

And fellow Emmy winner, "Dancing With the Stars" host Tom Bergeron, wrote, "Congrats to @derekhough, who shows up to work today with both an Emmy and a Riley. #DWTS."

While several other "Dancing With the Stars" pros (including Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Chelsie Hightower and Tony Dovolani) have been nominated for Emmy Awards in the past, Hough is the first regular choreographer from the show to actually win it. "So You Think You Can Dance" alums regularly scoop up the category, so it looks like Derek's quickstep to an Emmy win is really a win for the whole team.

"Dancing With the Stars" Season 17 airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
