Singer Cyndi Lauper and former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson will join the WEtv reality TV family.

Lauper, who has reality experience from participating in the ninth season of Celebrity Apprentice, will star in a docu-soap with the working title Cyndi, the network announced Wednesday.

In the 12-episode series, Lauper will reveal how she balances her personal life as a mother and wife with her professional one as a musician and composer. "I'm really looking forward to reuniting with Mark Burnett and working with his team and WE tv on my new show," said Lauper. "They make a powerful combination so I am going into this venture with an A Team! I love TV and this is something I've wanted to do for a long time."

Wilkinson is already comfortable exposing her life in front of the cameras, having starred in The Girls Next Door and Kendra, both on E! WEtv has ordered 14 episodes of the docu-soap Kendra on Top, which will continue her story as she "gets her groove back" -- adjusting from once being a sex symbol to becoming a loving wife and mom. Husband Hank Baskett III will also make his own transition into life after the NFL.

WEtv will air both Cyndi and Kendra on Top in the summer.
