Courtney Thorne-Smith is returning to Two and a Half Men in a recurring capacity, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The 43-year-old actress, whose credits include Ally McBeal and Melrose Place, will reprise her role as Lyndsey McElroy, the ex-flame of Alan (Jon Cryer). Thorne-Smith first appeared at the end of Season 7, before Lyndsey and Alan's relationship took a turn for the worse — he even accidentally burned down her house!

The news of her return comes one day after Judy Greer signed on as the soon-to-be ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt, a broken-hearted billionaire who buys Charlie Harper's house after he meets his demise.

Two and a Half Men returns Monday, Sept. 19 at 9/8c on CBS.
