Comedian Katt Williams can't seem to stay out of trouble.

The star was reportedly arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and possession of a stolen gun Los Angeles on Friday evening. According to Los Angeles Policy Officer Norma Eisenman, the funnyman was taken into custody following a welfare check at his home by the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. During the check, authorities reportedly found several firearms including one that had been reported stolen.

This is the second run-in with the law this month for the comedian who was arrested earlier in December on a felony warrant for evading officers and driving in a reckless manner in Sacramento the previous month.

With the news of his latest arrest, the "Scary Movie 5" star joins a growing group of stars facing new legal troubles as they enter the new year. Here are some of the stars up against the long arm of the law:

Nick Stahl: He's been a bad boy! The former teen star has found himself in some very hot water after being arrested for misdemeanor lewd conduct following an incident at a adult movie store in Hollywood over the weekend. The "Terminator 3" star was taken into custody and released a few hours later.

Josh Brent: The Dallas Cowboys nose tackle is facing hard time after being indicted on one count of intoxicated manslaughter following a car accident that killed one of his teammates earlier in December. Brent was the driver in the December 8th crash which resulted in his striking a curb and flipping his car resulting in the death of his friend and teammate Jerry Brown. He was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Fat Joe: The rapper is facing the big house after failing to pay taxes for his hits including "What's Luv" and "Make It Rain." He plead guilty to tax evasion earlier this month after trying to avoid income taxes for 2007 and 2008. He is currently free on bond and is facing up to two years in prison when he returns to court for sentencing in April.
