Chris Pine Will Officially Play Wonder Woman's Love Interest!

Another Chris has officially joined the world of superhero films!

After months of negotiations, Chris Pine has officially signed on to star as Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman's love interest, in the upcoming Wonder Woman standalone film, The Wrap reports.

Chris will appear opposite Gal Gadot, who fans will first get to see kick ass as the iconic superheroine in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

With the Star Trek star's addition to the world of comic book movies, he joins several other notable actors named Chris, including:

- Chris Evans, who stars as Captain America and also played Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four films.

- Chris Pratt, who plays the charming Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.

- Chris Hemsworth, who stars as the almighty Thor!

- Chris O'Donnell, who played Robin in Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

- Christopher Reeves, who starred as Superman in the 1978 classic.

- Also The Dark Knight's Christian Bale (his friends probably call him Chris, so we're going to count it).

And those are just the heroes! Let's not forget Chris Cooper as Norman Oswald in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, or Chris Eccleston in Thor: The Dark World.
