Cheryl Cole and Other Stars Who Wore Feathery Dresses

Over the last few weeks, feather dresses have been a very popular choice among celebrities. The latest star to jump on the feathery bandwagon is Cheryl Cole, who wore this gorgeous gown at the Cannes Film Festival. Chezza looked stunning in red and white, but which other famous ladies have also been out and about in feather dresses, and who looked the best?

Beyonce

The Met Gala was a parade of feather-filled designs, but none were more eye-catching than Beyonce's dress. It was a mix of strategically placed black lace on sheer material, with a train of long, black and purple feathers. From the front, the gown was absolutely perfect, but the back view let the look down. While Bey's butt was covered, her exposed thighs made the dress lose a little of its class and grace.

Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger opted for a purple Prada gown, with a very simple design at this year's Met Gala. The problem with the spaghetti straps and the loose, floaty material is that it seemed to hang a little around the top, with the feathers pulling it down at the bottom. While the color looked gorgeous on her, the rest of the dress swallowed her a little.

Kate Bosworth

Kate Bosworth was the third person to opt for feathers at the 2012 Met Gala, but her style was a whole lot more understated than Kruger's and Beyonce's. Instead of dragging a gigantic train after her, she chose a short flapper dress. While most of her feathers were black, the upper ones were a deep red, breaking up the "sameness" a little.

Each of these ladies looked fantastic, but Cheryl Cole just edges ahead with the perfect cut, fit, style and color. Kate Bosworth's different take on the feather craze makes her a very close second.
