Popular actor Channing Tatum is celebrating his 32nd birthday on April 26. He is best known for his ability to make women swoon with his turns in romantic movies such as "Dear John." At the same time, he has also made quite an impression on some famous men. "That guy looks like he was sculpted out of ivory," joked "Friends With Kids" star Adam Scott while talking about the actor's rear end. While his physical features have made him a star, Tatum is more than just a handsome actor than can hold his own in a mushy scene. He has plenty of other reasons to be happy as he celebrates his birthday. Here is a look at what he has going on that should keep a smile on his face.
2012 has already been a big year at the box office
It's not even May and the actor can already lay claim to a pair of box office hits. He melted hearts with his performance as a devoted husband opposite Rachel McAdams in the romantic drama "The Vow" in February. After that he took on lighter fare when he starred with Jonah Hill as a pair of bumbling cops in "21 Jump Street." That's not a bad way to start a year for any actor.
He has much more on deck
Despite the box office power that he has already displayed this year, he isn't slowing down any time soon. Tatum will be a big part of the summer blockbuster party when he reprises his role as Duke in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation." That means that 2012 will showcase the actor's range as he appears in a drama, comedy, and action movie. He will also star as a stripper in the upcoming comedy "Magic Mike." It looks like he has no interest in being typecast as the handsome guy that woos the girl.
He is happily married
You might not realize it at first glance but the birthday boy has been married since 2009. Tatum tied the knot with actress Jenna Dewan almost three years ago and the two are still very much in love. "I like drawing little faces and writing little stories and hiding them in places," said the actor when talking leaving love letters for his wife.Note: This was written by a Yahoo! contributor.
