Country music legend George Jones, perhaps best known for his hit "He Stopped Loving Her Today," died April 26 at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center after being admitted for a fever and blood pressure issues. He was 81. Shortly after the news broke, some of Jones' celebrity friends and fans hit Twitter to express their feelings over the icon's passing.
TV personality Ali Landry tweeted " RIP George Jones. His music was the soundtrack of my childhood. My whole family were huge fans. What a legend:("
LeAnn Rimes Cibrian referenced Jones' signature song when she shared "So sad we lost "the possum" today. R.I.P George Jones and know we didn't stop loving you today. You will live on forever in our hearts."
