Celebrities React to Dick Clark's Sad Death at 82

Legendary "American Bandstand" host and television icon Dick Clark passed away on Wednesday, his publicist confirmed in a statement.

"Dick Clark passed away this morning (Wednesday) at the age of 82 following a massive heart attack."

Sources told TMZ that Clark had been at Los Angeles' St. John's hospital receiving outpatient treatment when he had a "massive" heart attack. Doctors were unable to resuscitate him.

The man synonymous with New Year's Eve is a true legend and will be missed by both us fans and his celebrity brethren.
