Before Michael Douglas and Diandra Luker divorced in 1995, they had one son, Cameron, born in 1978. The 34-year-old Cameron Douglas has been quite a handful for the 68-year-old Academy Award-winning actor. Today, the younger Douglas is in jail for 10 years for drug-related crimes. Since he's got lots of time on his hands, he's written a blog post on how he feels non-violent drug offenders should be treated.

Who are some other sons of celebrity dads who went to jail?

Griffin and Redmond O'Neal

Almost all of 72-year-old actor Ryan O'Neal's kids have been in trouble, including Tatum, Griffin and Redmond. In 2011, former actor Griffin O'Neal, 48, whose mother is the late actress Joanna Moore, was sentenced to 16 months behind bars following a car crash and a D.U.I.

Redmond O'Neal, 28, whose mother is the late actress Farrah Fawcett who died in 2009, has also been jailed for substance abuse. Plus, he got into trouble for weapon possession. Fortunately, he was permitted to leave jail to visit his ailing mother and then attend her funeral when she died. These days, Ryan's youngest child is doing better after being released from his latest sentence and after completing one year in rehab.

Sean Stewart

Rod Stewart has always been busy, especially in the wife and kid department. The 68-year-old rocker has eight children by five different women. Sean Stewart, 32, whose mother is former model Alana Stewart, is one of them. Back in 2002, the "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" alum was sentenced to 90 days in jail for attacking a man in California.

Nick Hogan

Semi-retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, 59, has had to deal with more than just a sex tape. He is the father of Nick Hogan, 22, a.k.a. Nick Bollea, who in 2008 received an eight month jail sentence, five years' probation, 500 hours community service and a three year driver license suspension. Why? Naughty Nick's passion for drinking and driving fast caused an accident that severely injured passenger John Graziano.

Grtis Ivey

In March 2012, rapper Coolio, 49, was reportedly arrested on outstanding traffic violations, and he was placed in a Las Vegas jail, the same jail where his son is housed. Like father, like son, Grtis Ivey, 23, was busted and jailed, back in November 2011, for robbing a man at gunpoint with a Vegas hooker as his co-robber.
