Britney Spears posted photos of her engagement party last weekend with fiance Jason Trawick. The first pics emerged of the happy couple as they celebrated the occasion at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

TLC's Next Great Baker revealed a shocking post-production detail during its episode last week: the eliminated contestant, Wesley Durden, had killed himself. TLC ran a note that served as Durden's In Memoriam: "TLC extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Sgt. Wesley Durden, who died October 24. He will be warmly remembered by the cast and crew of Next Great Baker."

Simon Cowell's The X Factor chose it's winning star, Melanie Amaro, who revealed that a good chunk of her $5 million cash prize would go her mother! Melanie said she was going to buy her mother a house and following that sweet splurge, plans to give herself a much deserved vacation with a "first class plane ticket to Hawaii."

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split five months ago, but we brought you footage of the estranged couple on a beach in Puerto Rico just last month. The two were filming their passion project, Q'Viva! The Chosen, which premieres January 28th on Univision. The former couple travels throughout Latin America in search of the most spectacular talent they can find.

It was announced on Monday that Chaz Bono and his fiancée Jennifer Elia had split and canceled their engagement. Bono's rep Howard Bragman confirmed to ET that the engagement is off and Chaz and Jennifer were "no longer a couple." "They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another. No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time," Bragman said in a statement.

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was arrested on Thursday along with his boyfriend after the two were involved in a fight outside a bar in Finland. Lambert and his Finnish boyfriend Sauli Koskinen were taken to jail and interrogated about the incident but later released. The singer later tweeted about the incident: "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"
