This year's most anticipated celebrity memoir has to be "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville's juicy memoir, Drinking and Tweeting. In the book, Glanville chronicles her acrimonious split from actor Eddie Cibrian, who cheated on her with singer LeAnn Rimes, and doesn't mince any words where her feelings are concerned. She talks about tawdry encounters, when she discovered Cibrian's affair with Rimes, and how she coped with the breakdown of her marriage. In true Brandi form, the book doesn't have a filter and is peppered with her own brand of colorful language.

Brandi's not the only celebrity to shock with a tell-all memoir. Let's take a look at other celebs who have put pen to paper to chronicle their unique lives.

Tina Turner - I, Tina

As told to MTV icon Kurt Loder, Tina Turner reveals her rise to music fame and her harrowing life with husband Ike, which inspired the movie "What's Love Got To Do With It." Tina chronicles not only the heady success of she and Ike in their prime, but also goes through the deep, dark times of Ike's drug use, and the abuse she endured at his hand. The sad story soon turns to one of redemption as Tina makes a chilling escape and strikes out on her own to even bigger success and happiness.

Rob Lowe - Stories I Tell My Friends

From his early "Brat Pack" days, to partying with Charlie Sheen and Sean Penn, Rob Lowe told all in his 2011 memoir. Nothing was off the table as he chronicled his wild days in the 80's, including his infamous sex-tape scandal with an underage girl. During that scandal, he goes on to say that none of his friends called or supported him except Jodie Foster.

Jenny McCarthy - Jen-X

Back when she was just a Playboy bunny and the co-host of an obscure MTV dating show, Jenny penned this memoir about every minute detail of her life. It was mostly panned by critics, but if you're looking for a memoir that actually goes there and doesn't have a filter, even when it comes to menstruation, then Jenny's first book is the one for you.

Dennis Rodman - Bad As I Want To Be

One of the biggest personality in Basketball back in the 90's, Rodman loved to shock people with his oddities. This book does the basic chronicling of his life, but then takes a strange turn and delves into his sadomasochistic tendencies. Rodman gets it though, and it definitely seems like the tone of the book is tongue in cheek in the weird parts, but definitely fitting of a guy who was known as "The Worm."

Shannen Doherty - Badass: A Hard Earned Guide To Living Life With Style And (The Right) Attitude

Shannen was once one of the biggest up-and-coming stars of television, but blew it with her diva antics. Naturally, her memoir has to be a self-help oriented book so you can live life just like her...basically make everyone scared of you. The book got horrible reviews, but if you're looking for an unintentionally hilarious read, this is one you have to add to your reading list.

So there you have it...the good, the bad, and the awful as far as celebrity memoirs go. Are you going to read Brandi's book? One thing is for sure, whether they're good or bad, celebrity memoirs are never boring.
