Beyonce's Super Bowl performance was sheer perfection -- right down to her fingernails! Celebrity nail stylist Lisa Logan tells Us Weekly how she created the Minx Nail design that the 31-year-old "Crazy in Love" singer and her backup dancers styled during the jaw-dropping halftime show Sunday, Feb. 3 in New Orleans.
"As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I began working on creating super long nail tips covered with the Gold and Matte Gold Chevron Minx that would be worn by the backup dancers," Logan explained to Us, and shared behind the scene photos of her design. "The process was very time consuming because the nails were going to be used in the holographic segment where it looks like Beyonce has multiple arms, so all the dancers had to be wearing the same design. And, because the nails were so long, I needed to use two Minx templates to cover each tip."
Logan added, "Since the hologram was made to look like Beyonce had multiple arms, obviously everyone had to be wearing the same design for the video."
The special hologram video appeared behind Beyonce and her entourage while she sang "Baby Boy." And the Grammy-winning singer's stunning gold nails were in full view during her "Single Ladies" number.
Minx is the only heat-activated solid nail coating that can last up to two weeks on fingers and six weeks on toes. So, the nail design Logan gave Beyonce for the video was the same she wore during the Super Bowl halftime show a week later.
