Best Dressed Celebs from the 'The Dark Knight Rises' New York Premiere

On July 16, Gotham City was overtaken by the red carpet premiere for "Dark Knight Rises" and fans were hoping to get a glance at the stars and what they were wearing. Although the debut of the movie was the primary focus, it was also a night of some fantastic fashion. Overall, it was one of the best dressed casts at a premiere that we've seen in quite some time. So who stood out for looking fabulous from head-to-toe at the New York City premiere of "Dark Knight Rises"?

Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley

Talk about a good looking couple! Tom wore a midnight blue suit with a matching skinny tie and a white dress shirt. We're normally not a fan of the slicked-back hair, but he actually pulled it off really well. The lovely Charlotte wore a stunning strapless cocktail dress by Astral Sundholm. Her hair was pulled into a sweet chignon and she accessorized with black heels and a black clutch.

Anne Hathaway

The stunning actress looked gorgeous in a white floor-length Prabal Gurung gown that had a plunging neckline and a peplum design. We're still not feeling her pixie hair, which she cut for her role as prostitute Fantine in "Les Miserables." She wasn't fond of the style either after she cut it. While doing an interview, she explained "[I was] a mental patient level of crying... I was inconsolable.'"

Marion Cotillard

The French beauty looked wonderful in a short ivory Christian Dior Couture dress that had a ruffled skirt. Although we would have expected something a bit more formal, she still made it work. Her shoes and makeup, however, were a flop. Love the Christian Louboutin heels, but certainly not with that dress. Strangely enough, she was also donning orange eye makeup. Seriously? Someone hand this lady a moist makeup remover towelette.

Christian Bale

Well hello, handsome. The actor was sporting scruffy facial hair and tousled hair, but looked much more put-together from the neck down. He wore a black suit complete with a black vest and tie and a white shirt and was certainly one of the best dressed guys at the premiere.

Who do you think was the best dressed of the evening?
