Audrina Patridge is the latest celeb to receive a makeunder from xojane.com and she looks absolutely gorgeous. It may not look like she usually wears a lot of makeup, but in the accompanying interview, her makeup artist says it takes about 45 minutes to do her makeup for a big night out. "I'll use twenty to thirty products: several eye shadows, three or four brushes, a highlighter, concealer, foundation, mascara, lip gloss, lipstick, powder, lashes…and so on." When it comes to doing hair for an event, her hairstylist says "I usually blow dry it with a round brush and set it in rollers, then curl it with a curling iron, then loosen the curl. Yup. About two hours." The makeunder took only 13 minutes and six products. It's such a simple photo, but it's one of the best we've seen of her. So which other celebs still look stunning when stripped of most of their makeup?
The "Jersey Shore" star makes no secret that she loves her bronzer, fake nails and extensions. Even when she got into a fight with JWoww back in 2010, nails were broken and fake hair was flying. However, in December 2011 she took a lot of it off for her makeunder with xojane.com. During the interview, she explained she takes about two hours to get ready for a night out. Instead of hours and multiple products, the makeunder took only five minutes by using five products - and she looked fabulous!
The songstress is known for heavy eye makeup, excessive use of glitter and her wild wavy locks, but in February 2012 she left most of it behind for a makeunder shoot with Glamour magazine. Her hair was tamed and makeup stripped down and she looked fantastic. The blonde beauty opens up to the magazine about her love of body paint. "Oh, the body paint stays. It's my favorite thing to do. Sometimes I have parties at my house in Nashville and it's clothing-optional, and we just body-paint each other and run around, and I have a giant bed. I'm very much in touch with that side of myself." Despite her wild streak, she looks quite tame with little makeup in her yearbook photo from when she was just 18-years-old.
The reality star is rarely seen without wearing a lot of makeup, but for the March 2012 issue of Allure magazine, she's sporting very little in her makeunder. For the shoot, the makeup artist used only a pencil, foundation, lipstick and a face oil. The hairstylist used a dry oil and pomade with a little touch of the curling iron. On the cover she looks fresh-faced and beautiful.
