Are any of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast still going to be "wives" by the time their reality series ends?
Back in Season 1 of the Bravo show, the only single "housewife" was former Disney child star Kim Richards. Now, will her little sis Kyle Richards soon be following suit?
We hope not! We love Kyle's hubby, dashing Beverly Hills realtor Mauricio Umansky. But according to Radar Online, during last week's filming for season four of the show, cast members Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville reportedly confronted Kyle about allegations that Mauricio has been cheating on her.
The Radar source said the two "absolutely blindsided" Kyle and wouldn't let up, to the point that the popular reality star threatened to quit the show after the confrontation got really heated.
If there's trouble in paradise, Mrs. Umansky hasn't let on.
The 44-year old and her husband have four daughters ranging in age from 5 to 24, but Kyle recently dished that she'd love to have another baby, telling Hollywood Life, "Ever since Halle Berry [became pregnant] I have to say never say never. Now that she is pregnant and she is older than me, then you never know!"
In a recent interview with Wetpaint, Kyle talked about her 19-year marriage to Mauricio and the secret behind its success.
"Always making each other the priority, putting our family first," she said. "Having it always be an open conversation. Our lives are so busy and crazy these days … we have to sit there and go, 'Ok, you have events, I have events, let's pick and choose which ones, we have to make sure we're there together.' We're home more nights than out. Always making sure we are and our children are our priority. And knowing that it takes work and don't take it for granted."
Since the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" 2010 debut, several of the show's stars have found themselves suddenly single. Taylor Armstrong's husband committed suicide after the first season. Adrienne Maloof and her husband, Paul Nassif, split during filming last year, while Camille Grammer's marriage literally fell apart before viewers' eyes. Meanwhile, Brandi Glanville came on to the show fresh off of her tumultuous divorce from Eddie Cibrian.
On the flip side, the deliriously happy Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, renewed their wedding vows on camera for their 30th anniversary, while freshman "Housewives" star Yolanda Foster seemed to be smitten with her husband David Foster, catering to his every whim and hushing her friends silent when he played the piano at their dinner party.
On her blog for Bravo, Kyle described her husband as a person who has "so much integrity and is a kind and gentle soul."
She also addressed the show's tumultuous third season: "There have been a lot of broken relationships and a lot of healing that needs to be done," she wrote. "The true relationships will survive even the most difficult of struggles, and the others will fall by the wayside. Only time will tell which ones are which."
We hope her words don't turn out to have a double meaning.
