Anne Hathaway is always a red carpet stunner.

Actress Anne Hathaway is busy promoting her latest film, and she's generating a lot of buzz in the process. While attending the New York premiere of "Les Miserables," the actress turned heads in a stunning Tom Ford designed black gown. The dress, which revealed the "Les Mis" stunner's perfect pins with a thigh-high slit, was paired with a pair of bondage style over-the-knee boots. Despite the fact that the 30-year-old actress looked amazing, perhaps her ensemble was better suited for a bondage fan than the struggling prostitute she plays in "Les Mis." The highly-anticipated film will showcase Hathaway's vocal talents and should be one of her biggest hits of the year. And what a year she has had -- let's look back at some of her other big moments.

She got married

In late September, the "Bride Wars" actress walked down the aisle in real life when she tied the knot with Adam Shulman. After four years of dating, the couple exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 guests at a private estate on the California coast. Details of the nuptials were kept secret until the big day, and guests even had to sport wrist bracelets in order to be transported to the event. An advocate for same-sex marriage, Anne donated a portion of her wedding photo profits to charities that support the cause.

She starred in one of the year's biggest films

Her turn in "Les Mis" isn't the only award-worthy performance that the actress had in 2012. Anne portrayed the mysterious villain Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises," Christopher Nolan's final chapter of his hugely successful Batman franchise. She earned recognition for her supporting performance from several movie critic groups, and has expressed interest in reprising the role if Nolan is involved. "If he's interested, I'm very interested," she said while promoting the movie over the summer.

She hosted "Saturday Night Live" again

In November, Anne served as the "SNL" host for the third time. Though her 2012 film roles have been serious, the actress reminded us just how funny she is when she poked fun at everything from "Homeland" to Katie Holmes. Anne has hosted the long-running sketch comedy show every other year since 2008. Seeing how great she is on it, the "SNL" producers would be wise to invite her back on a more frequent basis.
