Jim, Oz, Finch, Kevin, and Stifler are back on the big screen with the release of "American Reunion" on Friday, April 6. Not counting a string of straight-to-DVD releases, this is the first "American Pie" movie since "American Wedding" in 2003 and the first to feature the entire original cast since the first sequel came out in 2001. The movie is already earning a lot of praise from members of the cast, including Seann William Scott. "It's a great film, definitely, in my opinion the best of the series," says the man that played the overly obnoxious Steve Stifler in the first three movies. Comedies have gotten a lot more vulgar since we first saw Jim discover that infamous pie but it looks like the cast is ready to shock us once again. In honor of their return to the franchise that made them famous, here is a look at what the top "American Pie" stars have been up to in the last decade.

Jason Biggs

As Jim, Biggs made a career out of being the nerdy nice guy and he has had a hard time escaping from that image. He appeared in movies like "Jersey Girl" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and recently had a short-lived sitcom on CBS but he hasn't come close to matching his original fame. His most important movie outside of "American Pie" came when he appeared in "My Best Friend's Girl." It was that movie that helped him meet future bride Jenny Mollen.

Chris Klein

Klein seemed to be a rising star with "American Pie" and "Election" on his resume but the pitfalls of stardom took their toll on him. With his film career in decline and his romance with Katie Holmes ending, the actor ended up in a long battle with alcoholism. Now clean and sober, he considers himself incredibly lucky to be around for the new movie. "I would have died, and I think about that every single day," said the star in a 2012 interview.

Seann William Scott

Though his role as the pompous party boy has defined his career, the actor continues to appear in hit comedy after hit comedy. He has starred in fan favorites like "Role Models" and "The Dukes of Hazzard" and recently appeared in the hilarious hockey comedy "Goon." Sensing that Hollywood success is always fleeting, he jumped at the chance to play Stifler one more time. After signing on for the new movie the actor commented, "There was a time when I was like, 'I don't know how long this whole career thing is going to go, so I might as well go back and have a ball playing this really fun character.'"

Alyson Hannigan

After rising to fame as everyone's favorite band camp girl, the actress has managed to keep busy outside of the "American Pie" franchise. Her most notable role is that of Lily on the long-running CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother." She gets to play the wife of the always funny Jason Segel on that show but is happily married to actor Alexis Denisof in real life.
