Although Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez were given the opportunity to use their one save on the 16-year-old singer, Shannon's rendition of the Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men ballad One Sweet Day failed to move the three enough to keep her in the running.

From here on out, the competition consists of Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Heejun Han, Elise Testone, Deandre Brackensick, Colton Dixon, Erika Van Pelt, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet and Hollie Cavanagh who, following the announcement of our next American Idol, will all appear in the Idols Summer Tour.

Until then, don't miss the next episode of Idol airing Wednesdays and Thursdays nights on FOX.
