Amanda Bynes claims that a redhead impostor is pretending to be her

Amanda Bynes is a former child star, and Farrah Abraham is famous for starring on a reality show about having a child. While the "All That" actress and the "Teen Mom" come from two different TV worlds, they're seemingly employing similar methods to keep the public's attention -- both ladies continue to get plenty of press for their celebrity mentions.

Amanda's latest celebrity target on Twitter was "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland, who didn't do anything to instigate the attack. Instead it was Sarah's boyfriend Matt Prokop who provoked Amanda.

According to Perez Hilton, this tweet by Bynes caught Prokop's attention: "If you're not hot I don't care about you." The actor responded to her mean girl message by writing, "look in a mirror... Stop getting work done. Save what's left." Instead of just labeling Prokop with her favorite four-letter word, Amanda drug poor Sarah into their Twitter spat by responding, "your girlfriend has an ugly face like you." Things just snowballed from there, with Amanda eventually deciding that she needs another nose job to improve her looks. Sadly, it looks like she's pretty serious about going under the knife again.

Hyland and Prokop join a long list of celebs who have been dubbed "ugly" by Amanda, but the former Nickelodeon actress might not actually be serious when she's dissing the likes of Miley Cyrus and Drake -- publicist Jonathan Jaxson recently claimed that Amanda has fessed up to faking her odd behavior to get attention for an upcoming movie. According to Life & Style, Jaxson even tweeted proof of Amanda's confession in the form of text messages. In one of her alleged texts she wrote, "All this has been an act and you know it! I am an actress and know what I am doing."

If Jaxson's name seems familiar to you, it's probably because he made headlines last year by claiming that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries faked their relationship for TV. Jaxson later retracted his statement and admitted that he didn't have firsthand knowledge of the former couple's love life, but hopefully his info on Amanda is the real deal. However, his claims are questionable since he later contradicted his previous statement by telling the Daily News that Amanda isn't working on a movie because she's too busy focusing on her music career.

If Amanda's "ugly" attacks really are just for publicity, then she isn't the only celeb who is using other celebs to keep her name in the headlines.

Sarah Hyland said that she was "creeped out" when Charlie Sheen starting following her on Twitter, but Farrah Abraham was so pleased to receive a text message from the "Anger Management" star that she shared what he wrote with TMZ. Unfortunately, her hopes of scoring a role on Sheen's show were dashed when the actor expressed his anger over her mismanagement of his messages -- he sent the sex tape star a rejection letter in which he labeled her a "desperate guzzler of stagnant douche agua." Perhaps Amanda Bynes needs to take insult lessons from this #winning wordsmith.

Since trying to befriend Charlie didn't work out, maybe pulling a Bynes by doing a little celebrity-bashing with help to extend Farrah's fifteen minutes. Right now her favorite target is fellow sex tape star Kim Kardashian, who she took aim at during an interview with New Jersey's Metropolis Nights. Farrah said of being compared to Kim, "I have been very successful with other things in my life besides just being a reality TV star. I have books and other things going on in my life that outshine Kim Kardashian. I feel I just outshine her when it comes to both our personal and professional lives. That's why I don't like being compared to her." She went on to say, "Good or bad, I just feel I'm going to be a smarter person."

Farrah and Amanda seem to share a love of targeting other celebrities and getting multiple plastic surgeries, so we're guessing that they'll either become BFFs on a future reality show or that they'll take their attention-grabbing antics to the next level by taking aim at each other.
