Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin (nee Thomas) announced just a few days ago that they were expecting their first child, but Alec is already proving to be a super hands-on dad. He's so involved, in fact, that he's experiencing sympathy pains with his pregnant wife!
"My boobs hurt," the 30 Rock star, 54, quipped to Extra on Feb. 13, one day after the couple went public with their happy news. "My boobs are killing me, so sore. My jeans don't fit. My pants, I can't buckle them."
One symptom he hasn't yet experienced? His wife's pregnancy cravings. "She was eating troughs of pineapple," he told Extra. "I mean, like, tanker containers of pineapple."
"I didn't eat pineapple before," Hilaria piped in. "It was bizarre. I really wanted pineapple."
What Emmy winner Alec really wants is to be a stay-at-home dad. The actor -- whose NBC sitcom recently aired its series finale -- told Extra he was looking forward to being a full-time father to his second child. (He already has a daughter, 17-year-old Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.)
"My dream is to be home with the baby," he said. "Like, standing in the doorway, saying goodbye to Mommy...'Mommy's going to work now. Bye, Mommy, see you when you come back!'"
