Krysten Ritter is one of many actresses who are interested in starring in '50 Shades of Grey'

"50 Shades of Grey" is going to be a very hot and steamy movie, so it's not surprising that casting rumors have Fifty fans all hot and bothered.

However, the recent bickering hasn't been about whether Matt Bomer or Ian Somerhalder would make a better billionaire boyfriend as whip-happy control freak Christian Grey-instead actresses have started sparring over the role of Anastasia Steele.

The starlets who want to get spanked in Christian's infamous Red Room of Pain include hilarious hottie Krysten Ritter, who plays sassy sociopath Chloe on the TV series "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23." Chloe is a commanding, conniving character who could probably make Christian Grey cry, but Krysten thinks that she can relinquish control by becoming his student sex slave.

When a fan tweeted that Krysten should play Anastasia Steele, she responded by writing, "Thanks! i would be down. ;)."

But it won't be easy for Krysten Ritter to make the move from Apartment 23 to Christian Grey's posh penthouse-she's going to have to compete with the daughter of the goddess of love.

Or at least that's who blue-eyed beauty Alexandra Daddario plays in the movie "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief." The stunning starlet recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her movie "Texas Chainsaw 3D," but the talk wasn't all about Leatherface's terrifying mask made from human skin-she was also asked if she'd be interested in letting Christian Grey blindfold her with his sexy silk mask. Here's what she said about starring in the movie: "I don't believe they've started casting. I haven't heard anything about it. But I'm honored that people are throwing my name out for it." So she didn't say that she's definitely interested in starring in the movie, but surely the role won't scare her now that she's experienced what it's like to be stalked by a chainsaw-wielding psychopath.

Alexandra Daddario said that she hasn't read "50 Shades of Grey," so she better start doing her research so that she can decide if she wants to campaign for the role of Ana in the movie. After all, Krysten isn't the only actress hoping to prove to the producers that she's perfect for the part.

Things are probably pretty tense on the set of "Pretty Little Liars"-two actresses from the show are vying for the role. Lucy Hale said that it would be "freaking awesome" to play Ana, while Ashley Benson told Celebuzz, "I've read every book. I want to play Anastasia. I love her so much!"

But if E. L. James wants to cast a fellow Brit as Ana, perhaps she should take a look at the work of "The Worst Witch" actress Felicity Jones. The bewitching brunette has also read "50 Shades," and she thinks that it would be "exciting" to play Ana. She also said that she would be fine with the "necessary" nude scenes that would be a part of the role, and he even has experience starring in a movie all about sex-her film "Hysteria" was about the invention of the vibrator.

So can you picture one of these actresses as Ana?
