5 Questions With 'Grimm' Guy
For the past 15 years, Reggie Lee has been one of those "Where do I know that guy from?" actors thanks to guest spots on everything from Beverly Hills 90210 to Prison Break -- but now, with his latest series regular gig on NBC's Grimm, fans are finally putting a name with a face. Something they'll find even easier after this summer's Dark Knight Rises, as Reggie shares the screen with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's mystery man. I caught up with the actor to talk about both projects and find out what you can expect from Grimm season two!
Insider.com: Did you expect Grimm to take off the way it has?
Reggie Lee: Not at all [laughs]. You never know what's going to work, but we knew the pilot had so much potential -- the humor infused with this darkness was so intoxicating. That's a really good recipe for this little fantasy that people want to DVR on Friday nights.

Insider: What are you hoping to do more of in season two?
Reggie: I would love to be more involved with the mythological aspect of the story. That's the crux of this series – it's less so the procedural. I think all the mythology is the heart of it. So if I had my druthers, I would love to be a creature [laughs] – or find out more about The Grimms. As we close in on the season finale, there's a lot of stuff coming down on Nick in terms of balancing who should he tell and how long he can get away with keeping this secret. The season finale does a great job with that -- and there are some big cliffhangers coming up.
Insider: If you could be a creature, what would it be?
Reggie: [laughs] I just want to be a weasel! I would like that. I think it's the perfect character for him. He's such a little weasel.
Insider: You're also part of one of the year's most mysterious movies -- The Dark Knight Rises. Is there anything you can say about your character, besides the fact his name is Ross?
Reggie: He has something to do with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character. That's about it [laughs]. People should keep an eye on Joseph's character though. For sure. It's funny all the secrecy -- I mean, in this day and age of things leaking so easily, you have to take these extreme measures. But when I went to London [to film], I knew almost nothing about my character. I could only read the whole script in a trailer with someone waiting outside the door. But I think the secrecy is good -- it only gets people more excited.

Insider: With all these remakes of movies that aren't that old, what do you think about the hurdle facing whoever tries to tackle Batman next?
Reggie: People would be stupid to follow Christopher [Nolan, director]. You won't be able to top this one. The great thing about Christopher is that he can take an action film and make everyone care about really socially relevant stories in giant summer blockbusters. This time, everything is bigger. The sets are bigger, the action is bigger, the impact of the story is bigger – it's the epitome of action plus story. I haven't seen anything like this before. We go out with a huge bang.
