4 Talented Celeb Daughters (& Sons) Who Followed in Their Parents' Footsteps

Many kids end up joining the family business, so it shouldn't be surprising when celebrity kids decide to get into Hollywood as they grow up. Which celeb offspring have carved out a legitimate career for themselves outside their family?

Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson

Goldie Hawn made a career out of playing ditzy - yet lovable - characters in a variety of comedies throughout the '60s, '70s and '80s. These days, its her daughter, Kate Hudson, who makes the romantic comedies.

Acting isn't the only way Hudson is following in her mother's footsteps, though. The mom of Ryder and Bingham told Elle in a recent interview that she's "had lots of talks about parenting and being a working mom" and hopes she can be as good of a mother as Hawn.

John Ritter and Jason Ritter

John Ritter never got to see his son's successful acting career, thanks to his untimely death in 2003. However, we're sure he's watching over his son as Jason makes his way through Hollywood with roles in independent films and on successful shows like "Parenthood."

"I think it helped me realize how fragile we all are," he told The Huffington Post in 2009 of how his father's death affected him. "I learned to tell people in my life how I feel about them a little bit more."

Demi Moore and Rumer Willis

Rumer Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, is doing her best to carve out her own career in Hollywood without the help of her parents. Sure, she got a leg up in the industry thanks to her famous mom and dad, but she doesn't rely on them to get her roles.

"If there's something I'm maybe unsure about I'll come to them and see what they think of it, but other than that I like just seeing what's out there and what's next," she told Broadway.com about seeking career help and advice from her parents.

Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian

Kris Jenner is known as a "momager" for getting her kids deal after deal for reality shows and product endorsements, but this isn't her first foray into the world of management. Kris first earned a fortune in the '90s for husband Bruce Jenner's fitness products. The couple reportedly earned $450 million for promoting the line, according to MadeMan.com.

Now, Kim is the family's biggest moneymaker and she shows no sign of slowing down.
