2012 Tribeca Film Festival: Best Dressed Celebs from the First Week

Yahoo Contributor Network

The first week of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City is finished and plenty of celebs walked the red carpet. The films are obviously important, but in a style-obsessed city such as NYC, everyone takes notice of the fashions as well. Although many stars showed up, only a handful stuck out for their fabulous head-to-toe appearance. So who rocked the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival?

Emily Blunt

The British actress wore two gorgeous frocks on the red carpet which is even more impressive considering some couldn't pull off one. On April 18 at the premiere of "The Five-Year Engagement," she wore a strapless green and black knee-length Jason Wu dress that had green leaf appliques across the bodice and a black strip around the waist. Bright green shoes and a pop of red lipstick finished off the look. The following night she attended the screening of "Your Sister's Sister" while wearing a stunning long-sleeve red lace Michael Kors dress with tan heels.

Dakota Fanning

The 18-year-old is becoming quite the fashionista. On April 19, she stepped out while wearing a crisp white top with a short light blue polka dot skirt. The "Twilight" actress finished off the look with black ankle boots and wore her hair straight down as usual. Love the look, but when will she finally change up her hairdo? The event is not all play for Dakota; she's one of the 39 jurors of the Tribeca Film Festival.

Kellan Lutz

The "Twilight" hottie attended the event on April 20 while wearing a light blue button down shirt with bluish-gray pants. He paired the look with brown leather shoes, brown shades and a brown satchel. Chances are he had plenty of ladies swooning. He's also serving as one of the 39 jurors for the Tribeca Film Festival.

Leelee Sobieski

The Tribeca Film Festival juror gets kudos for only half her look as we're not a fan of the brown coat by The Row that she wore to the premiere of "The Five-Year Engagement." However, the Boy. by Band of Outsiders black halter gown that she wore underneath was gorgeous. Her hair was slicked back and she completed the look with black strappy heels.

Camilla Belle

Wearing a gold dress is a big fashion risk. Often it can look gaudy and ridiculous and all of its elements, combined with the woman herself, need to blend perfectly in order for the look to work. Well, Ms Belle pulled it off. She attended the premiere of "The Five-Year Engagement" wearing a gold and black Jason Wu frock that had a keyhole neckline. She accessorized with gold hoop earrings, black heels and a matching clutch.

Which was your favorite look from the first week of the Tribeca Film Festival?
