The stars at the 2012 Emmy Awards looked just as hot on the red carpet as it was outside!
Bright colorful dresses were the trend of the evening given the unseasonably warm temperatures at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
Heidi Klum showed off a lot of leg in a beautiful seafoam gown by Alexandre Vauthier and tall Charlotte Olympia shows. The Project Runway host rocked two high slits and a deep-v neckline. Klum, 39, is currently dating her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten, after splitting from husband Seal in January after seven years of marriage.
Julianne Moore, 51, showed off her famous red hair in a bright yellow Dior Haute Couture dress. The mother-of-two won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her role as Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, who earned a nomination for Best Supporting Comedy Actress, looked sexy in a teal, hand-beaded Zuhair Murad gown. She accessorized the ensemble with more than 175 carats of Neil Lane jewels.
Emmy-winner and mom-to-be Claire Danes showed off her growing baby bump in a strapless yellow Lanvin dress. The Homeland star won the aware for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. "To my husband, my love, my life, my baby-daddy, this doesn't mean anything without you," Danes, 33, told Hugh Dancy, 27, during her acceptance speech. "I love you so much. I'm so grateful. Thank you."
Another star who stopped traffic on the red carpet was Julie Bowen in a lime green Monique Lhuillier trumpet gown. The 42-year-old Modern Family star took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
New to the Emmys red carpet, Girls creator Lena Dunham chose a blue and black lacy Prada gown with matching Prada pumps. The 26-year-old HBO star, who was nominated for four awards, flaunted her newly-cropped pixie-cut.
