VIDEO: Ashton Kutcher Breaks Down While Accepting Award

Ashton Kutcher is a giant mess of contradictions: on one hand, he's a self-promoting, mild-to-moderately irritating actor who allegedly cheats on his wife, Demi Moore, and then films inappropriate Nikon commercials; on the other, he's a vocal and passionate crusader against human trafficking. Check out this clip of Kutcher getting choked up while receiving an award for his humanitarian efforts at the GQ Gentleman's Ball in New York:

Absent from the GQ event: Moore, who co-launched the Demi and Ashton Foundation last year to raise awareness about child prostitution. It's a cause near and dear to the couple's hearts -- but given the circumstances (possible d-i-v-o-r-c-e), the two can't really share the spotlight until the breakup hubbub dies down. If they do split up, perhaps Moore and Kutcher will remain good friends, a la Moore and ex-husband Bruce Willis.
