Report: George Clooney Is Still Dating Stacy Keibler
Today in Bizarre Hookups: George Clooney continues to romance ex-WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, People reports. The magazine cites confirmation from an anonymous source that the pair remain together -- despite rumors they'd cooled off since hooking up earlier this summer.
If The Cloon is indeed wrestling with The Keibler -- Wrestling, get it? Got jokes all night! -- then he's certainly stealthy about it: in the past few weeks, the actor has eliminated all visible traces of the "Dancing With the Stars" alum, publicly cavorting Keibler-less across Europe with glamorous pals including Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. He kept Keibler out of the picture while promoting his two movies "The Ides of March" and "The Descendents" at the Venice and Telluride film festivals, and will likely appear solo at the Toronto Film Festival this week. So far, no couples' photo op on the red carpet.
It remains to be seen whether this Clooney-Keibler situation is a seemingly random fling or the real thing. One thing is for certain: you can bet that Keibler is aching to become Clooney's public arm candy a la Elisabetta Canalis, his feisty Italian ex and an upcoming "DTWS" cast member.
