Reese Witherspoon’s Sage Advice to Young Sexters: ‘Hide Your Face’

It's pretty rare to hear Reese Witherspoon say what she really thinks about anything, so we were pleasantly surprised by her out-of-nowhere rant against sexting starlets at the MTV Movie Awards. While accepting an "MTV Generation Award," the 35-year-old actress directed her speech to all the aspiring Kim Kardashians out there:

"I get it, girls, that it's cool to be a bad girl. But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in the business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed. And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cellphone, you hide your face, people! Hide your face!"

Lindsay Lohan, of all people, agreed. "I love reese witherspoon sooooo much!!!!" she tweeted, most likely ecstatic that she has thusly managed to avoid the leakage of any sex tapes and/or illicit iPhone photos.

Blake Lively, who was a presenter at Sunday's show, cannot say the same thing. So far, Leo DiCaprio's va-va-voom new girlfriend has managed to put on a classy public face despite her humiliating nude photo scandal. Still, Witherspoon's wise, shame-inducing words might haunt her for a while.
