So this might not happen but if it did, how awesome: Aubrey Plaza, who steals every scene she's in as the droll and sardonic April on "Parks and Rec," has been elected the best actress to play the hypothetical lead in a live-action version of "Daria," which is basically the greatest cult '90s cartoon of all time. (Lo siento, Beavis and Butthead.) In a poll on MTV's Clutch blog, voters picked Plaza over other Daria doppelgangers like Ellen Page and Zooey Deschanel.
Plaza accepted the gig on Twitter, quipping that she wants "$2 mil & for all the people bitching that I always do the same character ... this will be my big blowout."
Which begs the question: Can she do both "Parks and Rec" and the Daria update? MAKE IT HAPPEN, MTV.
