Is Kate Middleton Pregnant?

The gossip mill keeps churning with rumors of a Kate Middleton pregnancy. In a new report, In Touch magazine claims on good authority that Middleton and Prince William are expecting their first child, and that she's about six weeks along with an heir to the throne.

According to a "palace insider," the 29-year-old Duchess is setting up a trio of nurseries at Nottingham Cottage, Kensington Palace and the couple's home in Wales. The Daily Beast provides some clues in support of the tabloid speculation: Middleton recently declined to taste peanut paste during a visit to UNICEF's supply center in Copenhagen (nuts are apparently a no-no for expectant mothers). And she turned down a glass of champagne at a charity event last month. Also: the Queen has amended the rules of royal succession so that a female firstborn has dibs on the throne ahead of a younger brother.

The palace has issued a non-denial denial on the chatter, stating: "We never confirm or deny these rumors. This is about the millionth (pregnancy) report we've had. If it were true, you'd hear the announcement from us and not a gossip magazine in the U.S."
