The JuiceWatch Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg flirt before dating report
There's a new couple on the block: Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are an item, according to People. But perhaps the bigger surprise than the '90s Playmate dating the '90s boy band member is the fact that they shared their first sparks with the public.
Extra noted Wahlberg appeared on McCarthy's VH1 talk show in March and that the 43-year-old NKOTB alum made quite an impression. McCarthy, 40, got excited when the actor admitted that he talked "dirty during sex" and asked him to whisper sweet nothings into her ear. After making sure no one could hear him, Wahlberg proceeded to nibble her ear.
The duo later bonded over having their faces printed on bed sheets, and McCarthy even complimented Wahlberg on his physique. Before the show aired on March 29, the Playboy alum wrote a blog about it for the Chicago Sun-Times, calling herself a "groupie."
"I want to talk about what happened between Donnie Wahlberg and me. Let’s just say we visually give '50 Shades of Grey' a run for its money. It gets steamy. I mean like really steamy," she wrote. "Being turned on by a guy is always fun but to have it legitimately happen to you on TV is to be turned back into a 12-year-old. By the time we get into the groundbreaking interview, my face turns fifty shades of RED."
Neither McCarthy nor Wahlberg has confirmed the People report, though Jim Carrey's ex told the website in April that she was single and hoping to meet someone on her talk show. "I keep telling my producers to book some cute, heterosexual single men," she said.
And not only is Wahlberg cute, but he and the "Jenny McCarthy Show" star have more than '90s fame in common -- they both have kids. McCarthy has one son from her marriage with actor and director John Mallory Asher, which ended in 2005. Wahlberg has two sons from his marriage to Kim Fey, from whom he split in 2008.
Sounds like a match made in '90s heaven!
