Miley Cyrus tells Justin Bieber to take a break from show business, calls him ‘stupid’

Miley Cyrus is calling out Justin Bieber for being "stupid." The 20-year-old "We Can't Stop" singer has reportedly chastised the Canadian pop star for doing "dumb stuff" in the wake of the kitchen mop bucket incident.

According to the Sun, Cyrus has suggested that the 19-year-old "Boyfriend" singer, a friend of hers, take a break from his career amid all the controversy around his recent behaviour.

“When you’re not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out they just want to talk s--- about you," Cyrus said. “I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nitpick."

The "Hannah Montana" alum did concede that "everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up," but pointed out that when Bieber makes a mistake, "it's really bad" because of his heightened level of fame.

But Cyrus, who has experienced her fair share of rumours, has also advised Bieber to ignore media speculation about him. “I always tell him just to be cool and not talk about it because when you talk it fuels the fire," she said. "He’s still stupid, though."

It's not clear whether Cyrus was referring to the fact that the Ontario native tweeted about talking to Bill Clinton after the urination incident (the video showed him not only urinating in a kitchen mop bucket, but also swearing at the former U.S. president). But what is clear is that Cyrus doesn't seem to have trouble fanning her own flames.

In a new interview with the Daily Mail, the songstress reportedly confirmed the rumour that the word "Molly" in her song "We Can't Stop" was referring to ecstasy-type drug MDMA (her producer previously claimed she was actually saying "Miley").

"If you’re aged 10 it’s ‘Miley.’ If you know what I’m talking about then you know," Cyrus said. "I don’t think people have a hard time understanding that I’ve grown up. You can Google me and you know what I’m up to — you know what that lyric is saying."

Of course we do, Miley. We're not stupid.
