Mariah Carey Hospitalized After Falling on Set of Music Video

Who knew being a pop singer was such a dangerous job?

Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital after dislocating her shoulder in New York City on Sunday night.

"Mariah injured herself while filming a video with Jeezy for the remix of '#Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon," a rep for the singer confirms to omg!. "She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine."

According to Page Six, the video was being was filmed at Avenue and Artichoke Pizza in Chelsea and that Carey may have tripped and fallen in heels on set.

Before her hospital visit, Carey, 40, was having a blast in New York City on the 4th of July celebrating with Macy's. She even tweeted a picture of herself in a star-spangled bikini and clearly was having a great time.

Carey is scheduled to appear as scheduled at the free concert in Central Park’s Great Lawn on Saturday, in cooperation with Major League Baseball and the New York Philharmonic to benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief.

And we have a feeling the songstress will even manage to make her arm sling stylish.
