Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s ‘Grown Ups’ Date Night

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are heating up New York City.

The engaged couple was spotted holding hands as they caught a film at AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Saturday afternoon. Their movie of choice?

"Grown Ups 2." Seriously.

Aniston, 44, is close friends with Adam Sandler, 46, so it's not entirely shocking she would go to support her friend … but thinking of Jen and Justin watching shirtless Taylor Lautner is amusing nonetheless.

Following the film, Aniston and Theroux's PDA tour continued as the two stopped by a MAC Cosmetics store before making a wardrobe change ahead of dinner at Blue Hill in Greenwich Village. This is the same restaurant that Jen and Justin, 41, celebrated their engagement at last summer (Justin popped the question on his birthday on August 10). The pair looked happier than ever, exiting the restaurant arm in arm.

The "Wanderlust" co-stars were accompanied by two others at dinner. A few reports claim Jen and Justin were joined by their mothers, Phyllis Grissim-Theroux and Nancy Dow. While it's unconfirmed, it would be interesting as Jen and her mother haven't had the smoothest relationship over the years.

The two became estranged after Nancy gave a TV interview about Jen in 1996 and later penned a book titled, "From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir." Nancy infamously was not invited to Jen and Brad Pitt's wedding in 2000. However, when Aniston was going through her divorce with Pitt in 2005, she reached out to her mom and the two worked on rebuilding a relationship.

Aniston is filming "Squirrels to Nuts" in NYC while Justin is shooting his new HBO show "Leftovers." While it would appear that wedding planning has taken a back seat to work, it looks like the betrothed are as solid as ever.
