Another day, another attempt at decoding Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship status.
While the young lovers are perfectly content sending veiled messages through social media, a new report indicates they have broken up yet again. Their nighttime activities would suggest the same.
Brown stepped out at Hollywood hot spot Playhouse on Saturday to celebrate several club owners' birthdays and flirt with a female partier an omg! onlooker said.
Rocking a gold-printed tee and white baseball cap, Brown grabbed the mic and belted a few new tracks from his forthcoming record "X." He was also taken with a blonde companion at his table.
The pair held hands and passed a champagne bottle (Ace of Spades, the bubbly owned by Rihanna mentor Jay-Z), though he left without her well after last call.
On Sunday, Rihanna enjoyed a break from her Diamonds World Tour, attending the Lakers vs. Clippers basketball game with girlfriends before hitting West Hollywood's Greystone Manor.
Arriving at around 1 a.m., RiRi picked up a few of her dancers in transit and enjoyed tequila cocktails and the thumping music. She stayed for about an hour, an eyewitness tells us, and partied nearby two former love interests.
One ex, L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp, sat just a few tables away from her group, sipping Hennessy with athlete pals like NBA star Chris Paul and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver/"Dancing With the Stars" contestant Jacoby Jones.
Also spotted: Blake Griffin, the Clippers' slam-dunk king once linked to Rihanna, enjoying a night out with teammate DeAndre Jordan.
The men sprayed Moet champagne over their entire table, and chatted with tables of girls but not the "We Found Love" singer. Our source said they never connected.
On Monday, E! Online reported that while Rihanna will "always love" Brown, she's moving on and "reshifting her focus to her career and business ventures."
Speaking of business, Rihanna will take the stage at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Monday evening. We're confident she'll use her time on the clock to spread a little more mystery about her tumultuous love life.
