The pop star is reaching the stratosphere of overachievement, as Monday brought news of an esteemed new job for the entertainer, wife, and mom.
Bey will co-chair this year's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, a swanky New York affair overseen annually by Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Themed "Punk: Chaos to Couture," Beyoncé's fellow chairs include Rooney Mara (a perfect fit thanks to her "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" transformation), Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, Wintour, and contributor Lauren Santo Domingo.
Mrs. Jay-Z has been a fixture at past events -- albeit in a purely social context -- where she caught up with pals like Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, or enjoyed a night out with her sister, Solange.
Her duties as host could include standing on the receiving line at the museum's entrance and greeting societal luminaries with her fellow co-chairs, WWD speculates.
Knowles adds this to ongoing prep for her world tour, "The Mrs. Carter Show," an ongoing Pepsi ad campaign, and rearing she and Jay's 1-year-old Blue Ivy Carter.
The gig is fitting, as Beyonce has style on the brain: she recently opened up about her own sartorial icons.
"Charlize Theron is always beautiful and feminine. I love her couture looks and dramatic silhouette," Bey told InStyle magazine.
"Halle Berry is elegant and sophisticated. I love that in the seventies Cher and Diana Ross looked like superstars and never played it safe. When they were onstage, they gave you drama—and I love drama."
