Amanda Seyfried's next role may be as porn star Linda Lovelace, but don't expect to see her in the buff any time soon. After watching the adult actress' iconic "Deep Throat" prior to filming, Seyfried says she was taken aback by its graphic nature. "What surprised me is the amount of pubic hair!" she declares in the March issue of Glamour. "I'm pretty sure I would never do a full frontal in a movie—for personal reasons, I wouldn't really want to show that."

Not that the 26-year-old hasn't had her share of erotic roles. She steamed up the screen with both Megan Fox in "Jennifer's Body" and Julianne Moore in "Chloe," and sexed up a children's fairytale in the dark fantasy "Red Riding Hood" — but Seyfried notes her art does not imitate life.

12 Secret Signs He's Into You

"I'm terrified of being promiscuous," she tells the mag. "I don't like the feeling you get when it's not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward. It's just uncomfortable when you're with somebody and you're like, 'I don't really know if I'm even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!' I think dating can come without sex."

10.Things He's Thinking When You're Naked

Despite a year-long fling with Ryan Phillippe, Seyfried says her "Mamma Mia" co-star Dominic Cooper "was my last real boyfriend." And although they split in 2010 after two years together, the exes remain close — and still joke about starting a family together. "Like, 'If it doesn't work out with other people, we might as well just have a child.' And there's a part of that that feels...possible."

Still, the "Lovelace" actress doesn't have plans to reunite and settle down with Cooper — or anyone, for that matter — any time soon. "I feel like the next person I commit to, that's going to be the guy who I'm going to have kids with," Seyfried adds. "So that's why I'm like, 'I can't commit.'"

Until then, Seyfried — who got her start on soaps "As the World Turns" and "All My Children" — is content to nurture her career. And although Hollywood is a revolving door of younger and prettier starlets, she admits she only "sometimes" feels the competition. "The funny thing is, the girls that I'm always up against for roles are pretty nice and cool, like Emma Watson. She's awesome. She's really funny and smart. And Carey Mulligan. It's flattering to be up against her because she's really good, and she's cool too ... I think the era of the diva actress is coming to an end."

The March issue of Glamour hits newsstands February 7.
