He may be playing a billionaire computer genius who created many of the devices the whole world uses to communicate every day in the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, "jOBS," but, in real life, Ashton Kutcher's latest entrepreneurial aspirations are a little less shoot-for-the-stars. The 35-year-old has launched a new company that sells T-shirts.

Nothing fancy here. The startup, called Pickwick & Weller, designs and manufactures what it calls “beautifully crafted basics” with “sharp designs” and a “meticulous fit.” It recently gave the world a look at its spring 2013 collection of tees, tanks, long-sleeve shirts (all in simple solid colors) for both men and women.

And, while Gwyneth Paltrow made headlines last year when she hawked her version of a plain white T-shirt on her website for a wallet-hurting $90, Ashton seems to be taking the average Joe’s salary into account, charging around $26 for most of the shirts (though some versions pass the $70 mark).

The pieces are only available online, but the actor and his partners have made committing to buying one of his tees as painless as possible. Shipping and returns are free and Pickwick & Weller offers something called a “home try-on,” which means you can order as many as you want, and send back the ones that don’t suit you.

It might not be an iPhone, but it’s still a pretty good idea…
