‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ stars Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassir settle divorce

Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassir's July split has been one of the nastiest in all of Hollywood. She accused him of physical abuse (towards both her and their three children); he said she was a drunk who once attacked him. But somehow the two "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars managed to put their major differences aside so they could settle their divorce — just a little more than three months later.

On Thursday, the two released a statement saying, "We're happy to announce we have reached an agreement on a settlement … We want the best for each other and we're confident we can help each other make a continuing positive impact with our children." Maloof, 51, and Nassir, 50, who were married for 10 years, then went on to add, "There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control," which is perplexing considering they both made their accusations on the record in the courtroom.

Maloof and Nassir, a well-known plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, concluded their statement with: "Our goal is for our children to have stable and nurturing relationships with both of us so we can all find as much happiness as possible. We appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters around the world."

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returned to TV this week for its third season, and in the premiere episode, which was taped before their split, the exes shared a romantic lunch together — but the tension between them was obvious. In another scene, Maloof told co-star Taylor Armstrong that Nassir was planning to open up a practice in New York City and travel back and forth between the two coasts. When Armstrong mentioned how much Maloof would probably miss her husband, she just shrugged. Sounds like the writing was on the wall! It should be interesting to see how the relationship plays out over the season.
