‘Boy Meets World’ cast reunite: Rider Strong, Will Friedle and William Daniels visit ‘Girl Meets World’ set

Boy Meets World? More like boys meet men.

While the "Boy Meets World" spin-off has been conspicuously Shawn- and Eric-absent until now, both Cory Matthews' best friend and brother, respectively, showed up to the party last week.

Rider Strong, who played Shawn Hunter on the Disney series from 1993 to 2000, and Will Friedle, who played Eric Matthews, were photographed on the set of "Girl Meets World" on the first day of shooting Wednesday.

The spin-off picks up with original stars Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) married with children. Their younger daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), is the show's central figure who faces the trials and tribulations of growing up. And she was the one who seemed most excited with the return of the hottest guys on the "Boy" block.

"Rider Strong and Will Friedle visited us! OH MY GOSH," Blanchard wrote on Instagram on March 20 with a photo of herself and Sabrina Carpenter, who plays Riley's friend Maya, posing with the actors. And Carpenter seemed equally stoked.

"Shawn and now Maya :) What an honor to meet you Mr. @RiderStrong," she tweeted.

The duo also posed for photos with actress Maitland Ward, who played Rachel McGuire, Shawn's half-brother's girlfriend, in season six and seven on the original show.

But fans of the Disney series shouldn't get too worked up. According to TV Line -- Strong, who has turned his attentions to writing and directing, and Friedle, who is mostly working as a voice actor these days -- were just visiting and will not be reprising their roles in the "Girl" pilot.

The same cannot be said for Mr. Feeny. News broke that actor William Daniels, who played Cory's teacher on the original series, would be appearing in the pilot after Ward posted a photo of herself with Daniels on set.

The more we hear about this spin-off, the more excited we are!
