Will Smith Slaps Male Reporter for Kissing Him on Cheek

That's one way to dispel the gay rumors. Will Smith shoved and slapped a male reporter at the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black 3" on Friday after the man embraced the actor and kissed him on the cheek after their red carpet interview. Smith, 43, seemed to be okay with the gesture — one that is obviously European — but then he suddenly turned on the reporter, shoved him into the cameraman standing behind him, slapped him in the face, and yelled, "Come on man, what the hell is your problem?" as his handlers ushered him down the red carpet. The Ukrainian reporter, known for kissing his subjects after concluding an interview, looked shocked and confused as he stepped back off the press line.

Smith, who is rumored to be headed towards a split with his wife of 15 years Jada Pinkett, then tried to justify his brute actions, telling those around him, "He tried to kiss me on my mouth!" The "Ali" actor, a supporter of gay marriage, then told the next red carpet reporter, "He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him … Sorry, I said that on camera."

According to a People magazine source, the reporter asked Smith for a hug and he agreed, and only flipped out because he claimed the man's lips brushed against his. "He was still a good sport about it and thought it was funny after the fact," says the source. "He was laughing and joking about it. He continued doing the press line for another hour and signing autographs and taking pictures with fans."

Somehow we doubt the reporter was laughing after being slapped by Smith.
