Rod Stewart, 66, Welcomes His Eighth Child!

Rod Stewart's got another reason to rock: He just became a father for the eighth time!

Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster gave birth to a son, Aiden, on Wednesday, the 66-year-old rocker's rep tells UsMagazine.com.

"Rod and Penny are thrilled ... Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy," the rep says, adding that little Aiden weighed in at 7 lbs., 12 oz.

Aiden joins older brother Alastair, 5. Stewart and Lancaster, 39, tied the knot in June 2007.

Announcing the pregnancy to Us in August 2010, the couple said: "We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy's 40th Birthday."

The "Maggie May" singer has six children from previous relationships: Kimberly, 31; Sean, 30; Ruby, 23; Renee, 18, Liam, 16, plus another child who was born in 1964 and given up for adoption.
