Jon Hamm on Kim Kardashian ‘Idiot’ Jab: I Was ‘Accurate’

Here we go again. Two weeks after Jon Hamm called Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton "f---ing idiots" in an Elle UK interview, he's fueling the fire once more. On the "Today" show on Monday morning, the actor, promoting the upcoming season of "Mad Men," responded to Kardashian's reaction to his comment. The reality star had tweeted last week that Hamm's jab was "careless" because she runs a bunch of businesses and has a successful TV show. His response? "I don't think they were careless; I think they were accurate."

Initially, Hamm, 41, claimed his "f---ing idiots" comment was taken out of context. He told "Access Hollywood" that he has never met the 31-year-old reality star, and "would never say anything personal about anyone that I have not met." Still, that didn't stop him from expounding on his original quote, which was in regards to reality shows like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and their many spin-offs. "It's a part of our culture that I certainly don't identify with, and I don't really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility," Hamm continued on Monday morning. "And it's not something that I partake in or enjoy, but it is what is and here we are. There are a lot of channels on the dials and those channels need to be filled up with things: It's different strokes for different folks."

So far, there has been no response back from Kardashian on her Twitter page.

In other Kardashian news, the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, tweeted an old photo of herself topless and pregnant with son Robert in honor of her son's 25th birthday over the weekend. "Rob, you are the best son a mother could ask for and you make me proud every day," she wrote. "I love you so much!!"

Just what every young man wants for his birthday … for his mother to show the world a nude photo of herself.
