Although four men have come forward to accuse John Travolta of sexual assault, it seems the worst is yet to come. The second man, an Atlanta-based masseur, wants his case against the "Grease" star to go to trial, but with a private judge presiding, according to his attorney, Okorie Okorocha. This comes on the heels of a report claiming the plaintiff was planning to go to mediation with Travolta's lawyers and decide on the terms of his lawsuit out of court. "There is no mediation," Okorocha tells People magazine. "There'll never be a settlement. I want privacy for sex crime victims … "It looks like [Travolta's attorney Marty Singer] wants one hell of a fight, and that is what he'll get from me."
The second accuser filed his $2 million lawsuit just four days after another unidentified man accused Travolta, 58, of propositioning him for sex during a massage on January 16. Although that man's story has been called into question after the actor provided evidence he says puts him in New York City at the time, the second accuser has some pretty good proof to authenticate his claims. He says he was called up to Travolta's room in Atlanta, where the actor was staying while filming "Killing Season" with Robert De Niro, to give him a simple massage, but soon enough he began groping the masseur. When his advances were refused, Travolta then began masturbating, according to the masseur, so he fled the room. Almost immediately, he says he sent an email to his employer at the resort documenting what had happened. Also, the actor, angry that his massage was cut short, came down to the spa to demand the masseur return to his room — which was reportedly caught on videotape by the resort's security cameras. Despite the mounting evidence against his client, Travolta's lawyer insists, "We'll disprove it, but we need specifics first. It's hard to disprove something when you don't have more specific allegations."
Over the weekend, another example of Travolta's bad behavior with masseurs came to light when a man named Michael Caputo told the New York Daily News that his former employer, the ritzy Peninsula Hotel in Manhattan, put a three-year ban on the "Pulp Fiction" actor because of "inappropriate" actions, like "removing his towel, grinding against the massage table, and lifting his butt in the air," when in the presence of spa staff. "Travolta would always request a man for his massage, but after a while no one would take him," Caputo revealed. "It got to the point where they couldn't find any men to take him, and they had to ban him." But after Travolta complained to the hotel, Caputo added, they eventually lifted the ban.
And just like all the previous claims, Travolta's powerhouse lawyer is denying the latest accusation. "If he was banned, do you think he'd ever go back?" Singer said to the Daily News. "He's never been banned, I guarantee you … The hotel never told John he was banned, and John never acted improperly."
